Senior Director of Programs and Services
Donna Davies joined the Alzheimer’s Association as a part-time care consultant from 2000-03, and returned to full-time in 2009. She serves Orange and Sullivan counties as a care consultant, and oversees the chapter's care consultant team throughout the Hudson Valley.
Donna has 30 years of clinical social work experience in the fields of aging and mental health. She received her bachelor’s in social work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and her master’s in social work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
Donna has worked in a variety of nonprofit agencies focusing on health and mental health issues, including Access Supports for Living in New York, Kahi Mohala Hospital in Hawaii and Health Care for the Homeless in Maryland.
Born and raised in Ohio, Donna “married into the military,” and enjoyed military family life before settling in Marlboro, N.Y., in 1999. She and her husband, who retired from the U.S. Army after serving 25 years, have two daughters, two sons-in-law and three grandchildren. Donna enjoys running, knitting and spending time with family and friends, both near and far.
