Tina Eckert
Walk Manager, Dutchess/Ulster and Putnam Walk to End Alzheimer's
Tina joined the Hudson Valley Chapter in September 2018.
She previously worked for the American Cancer Society for 33 years, managing the office finances, overseeing the Community Crusade Door to Door Campaign, and running various special events, such as the organization's Jail and Bail Fundraiser, Duck Race Fundraiser, The Ride, Run, Walk Event Fundraiser, Golf Tournaments and Daffodil Days in Ulster and Sullivan counties and Relay For Life Events in Ulster, Orange, and Sullivan counties. She served on many work groups throughout the organization's re-organization phases.
Tina graduated from SUNY Ulster with a degree in secretarial studies and has completed three semesters of human services.
Tina lives in Kingston with her husband, Walter. She has a daughter and son-in-law. She loves spending time with her family and friends, as well as driving and tinkering with her 1965 Ford Mustang that she helped restore in the mid 1980s. She also enjoys landscaping in my yard and reading.
